Your dog will romp and play with other dogs all day and learn how to behave like a dog and become part of a pack. Our loving staff will provide lots of emotional and mental stimulation throughout the day and your dog will become part of the family when they're at The Mutt Hutt.

• 9,200 square foot facility including "the Beach Club" for big dogs, "the Small Dogs Surf Shack" for the smaller dogs and "the Laidback Lounge" for the dogs who like to take it easy.
• Play equipment, grassy platforms and comfortable hammocks for your dog to have fun and relax with their friends.
• Clean, germ free odorless environment complete with a bone-shaped pool in The Lagoon!
• Large sleeping quarters with cozy lambskin bedding and soft blankets. Multiple dogs from the same family will share a roomy 4' x 6' run and will each have their own Mutt Hutt cot.
• Remote access web cams so dog parents can watch their pets play from work, home or while on vacation!
• Dogs always have access to fresh drinking water and we provide yummy treats throughout the day.
• A fun-filled day of mental and emotional stimulation along with lots of hugs, kisses and belly rubs.
• We do not breed restrict but your dog must be friendly and social (*Temperament test required to attend)
• Clean bill of health from vet stating that your dog is current on required vaccinations: rabies, DHPP and bordetella
• Must be on flea/tick preventative
It also serves to provide a sense of well being with the clients as they feel secure in the fact that we screen every animal entering the facility to insure the safety of all animals in our care. The temperament test will be provided at a nonrefundable charge of $10 that includes one free half day and will be credited towards your dogs first full day of daycare.
Temperament tests are conducted without the owners present. Just like children, dogs act differently when their human parents are around. Our staff needs to be able to get an accurate evaluation of the dogs behavior in different circumstances. We will perform a series of exercises with the dog to determine excitability, food aggressiveness, ability to walk on a leash etc. Once it is decided that the dog is okay to enter the dog play areas, he/she will be brought in on a leash. The pack will sniff and greet and staff members will observe how the new dog reacts to the others. If the dog seems comfortable he/she will then be let off the leash to join the pack and play.
